What is Innovation Voucher Programme?
Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP) is a flagship initiative of the Government of Tamil Nadu to promote innovation among MSMEs and Startups across sectors like Agriculture, Energy, Health, Electronics, Automobiles, Deep Technology and more.
The programme provides financial support through a State-level screening committee to convert ideas into prototypes and market-ready products.
Idea to Prototype
Grant support of up to ₹3 Lakhs to convert innovative ideas into working prototypes.
Voucher A – Prototype Support
Supports validation and development of innovative ideas into functional prototypes.

- Tamil Nadu based
- No prior Knowledge Partner contract
Prototype to Market
Grant support of up to ₹7 Lakhs for commercialization and market access.
Voucher B – Commercialization
Helps early-stage companies access markets faster through:
- Service engineering
- Prototyping & design
- Technology transfer & IP
- Testing & certification
Application Process
Applicants must read the instructions carefully, verify eligibility, arrange required documents and complete the online application process.
General Eligibility Conditions
- Manufacturing MSME or Startup
- Registered and located in Tamil Nadu
- Willing to co-finance as per IVP norms
- CIBIL score of 750 or above (if applicable)
- No prior contract with Knowledge Partner
